Maysville, Georgia · Community Update

A Message to the Maysville Community

We were glad to see the City of Maysville recently establish a Community Benefit Agreement Committee. The work this committee is taking on matters a great deal to the future of this community, and we recognize the responsibility the Chair and committee members have stepped into on behalf of their neighbors.

We're committed to being an active, positive part of the Maysville community - investing here, growing alongside Maysville, and being a good neighbor. A Community Benefit Agreement that reflects what residents actually want is a big part of making that real, and we want this to be a community-directed process from the start.

We've heard from many of you already, and water, noise, and the Elementary School have come up as some of the topics residents care about most. We want to make sure every resident has a chance to be heard as the committee does its work and look forward to discussing options for an easy, direct way for people to share what they'd like to see in an agreement. We'll share more details on that here as they're finalized.

An open invitation

Let’s talk, neighbor to neighbor.

The team behind the project on Industrial Drive wants to do this the right way: out in the open, with you. On Tuesday, July 28, we held a successful open community meeting to share the facts, answer questions in person, and hear directly from you. That conversation continues right here.

Update

As any good neighbor would, we want to keep you informed that work on our project has begun.
